The Bikers

The Mountain Bike Crew at Tsali on Friday. I was hiking. I chose to bike on Saturday, when it was colder and raining. I may be a beginner, but I am hardcore. Nice, sunny weather is for wusses! 

Another trip into the Appalachians

Roan waits for their return. Next year... Next year... 

Reluctance and eargerness mix as all prepare for the trip home... 

The group reunited at last! 

The scouts wait for their friends, weary from the effort of the previous day... 

Family conquers all... 

A well earned rest... 

The path is easy to find but still one can be easily lost in this place... 

A fair morning greets the rearguard as they trek to the rendevouz point... 

The moon ascends high into the sky... 

Surely the work of great magicks... 

Nature rewards them for their efforts... 

They reach the top! 

Whilst the advance scouts near their goal... 

The others make camp... 

They take up the trail once more... 

And looking forward towards their destiny... 

Looking back over their path... 

And yet filled with beauty.... 

Their way is dark and treacherous.... 

Two are chosen to scout the way ahead as the ravages of the trail being to take their toll on the group... 

They push on looking back on the splendor of Big Hump... 

Once reunited after an arduous climb, the merry band rests...
